Zhang Wenhong is the team leader of medical team in Shanghai and also the professor in infection dept of Huashan hospital. Although the doctors were clear that an unknown virus would most likely push them to danger, and made them much nearer to death than average people, all doctors choosing come to the front line were fearless. They said they trusted Doctor Zhang Wenhong. Overnight, Dr. Zhang Wenhong was famous. Words from Dr.Zhang were also famous: “Only hearing the clock ticking, without know what time it is now.” “I will take the lead”. He was called “Tough doctor”.

Zhang Wenhong knew the importance of prevention and control work. He said on CCTV news frankly: if the prevention and control work is not done well, it may be a stalemate, a protracted war. In the famous video, he participated in person and explained why he made weekly rounds. The main reason for my rounds was, in fact, to allay our doctor's fears. How can other doctors accept a director who only talks behind his back but never gets to the front line to treat his patients?

During the SARS epidemic in 2003, Zhang Wenhong joined the Shanghai expert treatment team with his teacher, Professor Weng Xinhua, and won the invisible battle with Shanghai doctors. Later, Zhang Wenhong led the department of infection at Huashan hospital, fighting at the forefront of major outbreaks from global "superbugs" to Ebola, from H7N9 bird flu to the new coronavirus pneumonia. Why so many fans? Because he tells the truth, speaks human words, and has real skill.

During the epidemic period, Zhang Dingyu, President of Jinyintan hospital in Wuhan, often went to bed at 2 am and had to get up at 4 am to deal with various incidents. Only in this way could more patients be recovered. But few people know that he is suffering from ALS, the muscles in his legs have atrophied, so he always walks with a limp. A dozen miles away, his wife, also a medical worker, was quarantined in another hospital with the coronavirus pneumonia.

In December 2019, Li Wenliang was one of the first eight doctors to warn of the dangerous disease (Wuhan eight gentlemen: Li Wenliang, Liu Wen, Xie Linka, others unknown). His warnings were not immediately heeded but admonished. At the beginning of the case, Li was still in the WeChat group to remind his relatives and friends to be on guard. Unfortunately, as an ophthalmologist, he felled victim to the attack. He said: “after I am cured, I would go to the front line. The virus is still spreading; I will not be a deserter. ”The optimism and tenacity of the doctor were touching.

However, Li failed to win the fight with the virus. In the early morning of February 7, because of infection with new pneumonia, after efforts to rescue, Li died unfortunately, only 34 years old. We are deeply sorry and regret!

Han Zunhai, Beijing Tongren Hospital

The ward where Han Zunhai worked had more than 40 patients. "for he first time you meet someone who's been diagnosed, it's false to say you're not afraid." But he soon adjusted. With 13 years of nursing experience in critical patients due to his background in comprehensive ICU, Han was able to use non-invasive ventilator, predict the condition, deal with breathing difficulties, and soothe and isolate patients' anxiety.

Everything is fine with me in Wuhan, please don't worry about it!

Because of my work, I seldom go back to my hometown to spend the Spring Festival with my parents in the past 14 years. But the outbreak in Wuhan is serious, I have to go, I know you are worried about me, but still very supportive.

“If there is war, the call will come” This is the mission of a medical worker!

Don’t worry about me. Wuhan is my lucky place. I am willing to do something for this city. Wuhan, don’t be afraid. You are not lonely. We are coming.

If friends and relatives ask, you can help me to report the safety. Do not worry too much. We are working hard, Wuhan is working hard, Chinese are working hard, and the epidemic will be controlled soon!

Han just attached a picture to the letter showing he came out from the isolation ward after the work, in the "war robe”, sweat soaked. His clothes were half wet; hands became white, but with a bright smile.

She is the head nurse of the emergency department of Beijing maternity hospital, known as the "gatekeeper" of the emergency department. She was like a "patronus" to the whole emergency room. Faced with nurses who had to ask for leave, Duan Yanli chose to let herself cover all their shifts. "The nurses are tired enough," she said. At present, in addition to a large number of medical workers fighting in the front line, there is a group of people, with their own strength to fight "epidemic".

In the face of the sudden outbreak of the virus, medical staff rushed into the battle, fighting in the front line. Their family is concerned about the safety of blood relatives. At the same time, there is also unconditional support from the family. "I will bear a year of housework," "but mother firmly support you," "mother, I really miss you."  These emotional words embodied the pride of the family forever.

Anyafei and 15 other sanitation workers in Hankou hospital, like the medical staff, strictly protect themselves, eat and drink as little as possible, stick to work for four hours constantly.

When the epidemic hit, the shopping malls were closed, the entertainment venues were closed, and the whole city was empty. Only the supermarkets are still open. They have proved with practical actions that they are an excellent team that obeys the party's command at a critical moment and grasps difficulties head-on at a critical moment.
