On Dec.28, 2019, the 12th Academic Conference on Hand Surgery in Shandong Province and the 3rd Academic Conference on Microsurgery was held in Jinan, where lotuses and willows were all around, hills and lakes were all in sight. The conference was in Silver Plaza Quancheng hotel. Many famous experts of hand microsurgery in China were invited to have an extensive and in-depth exchange on the latest progress of the subject.

Qilu has played an important role in the development of Chinese hand surgery and microsurgery, and was the cradle and important training base of Chinese hand surgery and microsurgery. The Academic Conference on Hand Surgery in Shandong Province and the Academic Conference on Microsurgery were jointly convened. On the basis of the three established professional groups, the newly established hand congenital malformation, limb wound repair, replantation and reconstruction group, especially the academic development group, would play a key role in promoting the professional development of the society.
